Your Creative Comeback Awaits
Are you feeling a deep need to break free from the scroll and rediscover the excitement and passion of creating with your camera? The digital age has blurred the lines between genuine connection and endless distraction, often leaving us feeling creatively depleted. Imagine a weekend where the only notifications are the whistles of the wind through the leaves, and the crunch of pine cones under your hiking boots.
You remember it, right?
The first few times you clicked the shutter button on your camera, and how that sound of making a picture made you buzz with ideas of images you’d love to create one day?
This isn’t just a photography workshop; it’s a rebellion against the constant digital drain. It’s an invitation to shed the pressure of constantly posting photos from your phone (which ends up just being content, not the images you had in mind when you first bought your real camera), and embrace the profound art of observation. For 48 transformative hours, you’ll immerse yourself in the awesomeness of Grundy Lake Provincial Park, guided by the changing light from the early morning mist rising off the wetlands and lakes, to the sparkle of stars and wonder of the night sky.

Real Women Who Ditched Phone Photography
"I have been to several workshops, and while the leader knew about their camera, they didn't know how to teach, or to help me use mine. You were a triple threat: A GREAT TEACHER, A GREAT PHOTOGRAPHER, and A GREAT HUMAN BEING." - Lori
"Sure, I know how to take a photo but the mechanics of going fully manual just wouldn't stick in my head - until I attended a workshop with Spark Adventure Photography. Goodbye autofocus! I am ready to take my photography to the next level." - Jennifer
"I loved how hands-on Cobi was in the workshop. I never felt nervous to ask a question because of the care that she put into answering it. This isn't a boring, stuffy photography lecture with an egocentric photographer—this is an incredible learning experience with someone who genuinely cares about your photography goals." - Ashley
“Would I attend another workshop with Cobi? In a heartbeat.”
Meet Your Host: Cobi Sharpe
Hellooo, I’m Cobi! I truly believe that creative freedom comes from when we take the rebellious act of leaving our phones behind and reconnecting with the simple act of just being in the moment. Grundy Lake holds a special place in my heart - I took my 6-year-old daughter there last fall for a photography weekend, and my heart ripped wide open! It’s the perfect classroom for this kind of creative rebellion. Endless landscapes and nature inspiration for your photographer’s eye. I’m passionate about empowering women to not just take photos, but to truly experience and capture the soul of a place. When you look back at those images, you’ll remember how it felt. Our phones have trained us to document for content. Not to create for feeling.
