Our Great Northern Adventure - Chutes Provincial Park (Massey, ON)

Covid, covid, covid…

What a time.

This family needed to get away. We came up with the idea 2 weeks ahead of time to road trip up to Quetico Provincial Park for a canoe trip and back. The whole shebang would take 16 days.

Now, we have a just-turned 2-year-old, so we didn’t quite make it up there in the full 15 hours.

Our first night we stopped at Chutes Provincial Park in Massey, Ontario west of Sudbury. We thought this place was fantastic! It was about a 4-hour drive from Muskoka with all of the stops we had to make along the way.

You see, our daughter figured out that every time she said “pee potty” we’d stop the car and get her out of her carseat.. so a millions stops later…

I’d really like to drive this point home. So far you’ve seen a camping adventure with my husband and daughter, but I’m totally there too! I’m the one taking the photos and it doesn’t even look like I’m there!

Seriously. Bring me along for a couple of hours to photograph your family or friends! Your vacation deserves to be documented with everyone who’s there!

Oh wait - here I am! An attempt at a selfie with my Sony Alpha.

She’s wiped. Could hardly keep her eyes open! An epic, adventurous day for someone who’s been dealing with covid isolation for the past 4 months.

This wraps up the first of 15 nights! Our next stop along the way is Lake Superior Provincial Park at the Agawa Bay campground.

Adventure awaits.
